MICROSOFT 365
Your practice already runs on Microsoft.
LEDGEIN works with it.
Sign in with the Microsoft accounts your firm already manages, and keep practice documents in SharePoint or OneDrive where your IT policy already applies — with LEDGEIN maintaining the link between a file and the client and job it belongs to.
Microsoft 365 · document destination

STATUS
What this connection covers
Two distinct capabilities: identity, and document storage.
Staff sign in with the Microsoft work account your practice already administers, so joiners and leavers are handled where they are handled today.
Documents received or produced in LEDGEIN can be filed into a document library your practice nominates, using a consistent folder pattern.
HOW IT WORKS
Setting the connection up
- 01
Connect the tenancy
An administrator authorises LEDGEIN against your Microsoft 365 tenancy.
- 02
Choose a destination
Nominate the SharePoint library or OneDrive location practice documents should land in.
- 03
Set the folder pattern
Decide how folders are organised — by client, by year, by job type.
- 04
Documents file themselves
Files received through LEDGEIN are stored in the right place and stay attached to the client and job.
No Microsoft authentication happens on this website. Connections are configured inside app.ledgein.com.
WHAT YOU GET
Practical benefits for the firm
Sign in with Microsoft
Use the work accounts your practice already administers rather than another password to manage.
Joiners and leavers stay simple
Access follows the accounts your IT policy already governs.
Consistent folder structure
A pattern applied every time, instead of everyone filing their own way.
Files stay linked to work
A stored document remains attached to the client and job it came from.
Documents arrive from clients
Portal uploads and document requests land in the same nominated destination.
Your storage, your controls
Retention, backup and tenancy policy remain under your practice's administration.
IN PRACTICE
What changes day to day
No 'where did that get saved?'
A predictable destination is applied by the system rather than by memory.
Documents keep their context
The file in SharePoint and the job in LEDGEIN refer to the same client.
No second document silo
LEDGEIN organises practice documents; it does not force you to abandon Microsoft storage.
IT keeps its footing
Tenancy administration, conditional access and retention stay where your IT team manages them.
SECURITY & CONTROL
Connected without giving up control
A connection is a scoped, revocable arrangement your practice makes deliberately — not open access to your systems.
Authorised connections
Provider connections use the provider's own authorisation flow where applicable. LEDGEIN never asks for your provider password.
Scoped to your practice
Integration accounts belong to your workspace, so a connection applies to your practice and nobody else's.
Chosen destinations only
Documents go to the storage destination your practice selects — not to anything else in the connected account.
Server-side authorisation
Access is checked on the server for every request, so permissions cannot be bypassed from the browser.
Disconnect at any time
A connection can be revoked by your practice, and access stops with it.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest across LEDGEIN.
LEDGEIN is not a Microsoft partner and makes no claim of endorsement. Connections are scoped to the destinations your administrator nominates and can be revoked at any time.
LEDGEIN does not claim provider partnership, endorsement or certification. Provider names are used to describe supported connections only.
