Some practices are not willing — or not permitted — to move client files into someone else's cloud. The LEDGEIN Connector is a small Windows application that lets LEDGEIN file documents into an approved folder on your own server, without exposing that server to the internet.

A narrow, deliberate scope. It moves documents into folders your practice approves — nothing else.
Supported
- Installing on a Windows machine inside your network

Explicitly not supported
- Opening inbound ports or exposing your server publicly
- Access to folders outside the approved list
- Reading or scanning unrelated network drives
- Remote control or administration of the machine

A connection is a scoped, revocable arrangement your practice makes deliberately — not open access to your systems.
Authorised connections
Provider connections use the provider's own authorisation flow where applicable. LEDGEIN never asks for your provider password.
Scoped to your practice
Integration accounts belong to your workspace, so a connection applies to your practice and nobody else's.
Chosen destinations only
Documents go to the storage destination your practice selects — not to anything else in the connected account.
Server-side authorisation
Access is checked on the server for every request, so permissions cannot be bypassed from the browser.
Disconnect at any time
A connection can be revoked by your practice, and access stops with it.
Encryption
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest across LEDGEIN.
The connector communicates outbound only, writes solely to folders your practice approves, and can be uninstalled at any time. This website never connects to a practice server.
